And if the candidate can easily make therapy fun along with all the above great qualities they will become a very valued member of the team—with opportunity for advancement if they have that desire.

Although they are always learning and they are always challenged. A great RBT will develop the ability to analysis situations and suggest ABA principled interventions from what they know and observe as a RBT to the BCBA. The BCBA is in charge of the therapy and the direction it goes but an insightful RBT is invaluable to the child, BCBA and the Center!
We pay the candidate during training and typically keep the training to 29 hours a week.
Once a Trainee passes the comprehensive tests and the BCBA approves them they must go to a Pearson Vue and sit for the exam. Once the Trainee passes the exam they become a RBT and their name is listed on the BACB.com website.
